Default anybody using the Bible Code?

this was popularized by Michael Drosnin in his best selling book The Bible Code. i have served with the author Joseph Noah for some time and he used a Bible Code software to obtain interesting speculations on the future. there is evidence that the national security agency as well as the mossad are interested in the bible code as well. would like to exchange info with anyone familiar with this. thanks.

i have michael drosnin's book, The Bible Code, too. but i'm a bit skeptical about it because i'm at a loss which bible should we use? there are many versions of the bible and so i deemed it impossible to apply the Code to all of them. they're likely to yield different results. credible? dunno. interesting? maybe.

sir hellblazer, the only version of the bible as used in the bible code that satisfies the mathematical tests to contain valid codes is the original version of the Torah. this version is the only one to be used. and it is in hebrew. however, legitimate bible code search softwares contain such, no concern there.

interesting? well for me, i found my name, that of my wife, and all the names of the children encoded in close proximity to each other and important relevant dates...relevant places of residences. coincidence? what is the mathematical probability of such happening?

let me also add, anyone can use the software even if one do not read or write hebrew. most bible code softwares have a hebrew translation dictionary built-in, and they have a virtual hebrew keyboard so can literally just type in. personally, i have been to places in my youth, i tried to learn other languages as my other interest.

interesting is an understatement sir regnauld. it is very interesting. btw, most bible code softwares has hebrew translation built into them, but if one is interested enough, he/she can learn hebrew. its not that difficult. i learned all the alphabet in one night. but then again, maybe i was there before...

as far being careful with names, if it is not there, it will never appear in close proximity within a certain slide. for example, princess diana and accident and paris do appear together, but i can never force it out to make it accident in cebu, no matter how i cheat with the software input parameters.

it never fails to cause a chill when you see a slide (we call each output of a bible code search a slide) about something very personal and consider that it has been written 3000 years ago.

now that is very interesting indeed.

All I know of this Bible Code is for the everyday joe to buy Drosnin's snake oil tales. I have read his books and any reasonable man can even point a mouthful of mobydick stories from there.
