Guyz me and some istorya members decided to have murag group study every sat or sun...sabuton pa nato unsa language ang kat.onan.....invite ta mga master dri sa programming dayun patud.lo ta mga newbies like me...it would be beneficial for both parties kay teaching is part of learning baya...mura na sad ni our own eb sa mga programmers sa istorya....suggest lang mo date and venue mga bro....

regarding sa resources murag lisod gyud kung tagsa tagsa ta computer...la man sad guro laptop tanan dri...so i suggest naa ra siguro one computer for the speaker dayun kanya.kanya na ta study sa balay..saman bro interested mo? please post here..ang interested mag teach please specify kung unsa na language ang inyo i share

what's that programmer group in Cebu?
it would be nice to form a group for newbies para dili pud sila ma-ilang ba.. lisod gud kung ma-intimidate na ang newbie, mawagtangan ug gana mukat-on..

as for the topics, mastering which language is a personal choice.. once you master one, you can easily jump to another kay parehas2x ra man ang iyang structure (except kung mu-jump ka from a procedural to an object oriented language)..

for procedural, C lng ako..
for object oriented, C# is the best around..

but lets not focus on just languages, databases are very useful na karon.. and i know a lot of people kay basics ra jud ilang database, nindot kung mainformed sab sa "industrial" aspects sa database para maminimize na na ang kadaghang failed projects dire sa cebu na usually database back-end.. pagka-ulaw lng jud nato dire na "mag-tuga2x" ug database..

study mo ug software engineering. gamit kaayo kung kabalo ka unsaon ang mga sakto na ERD diagrams and normalize nga tables sa imong database.

Hi guys, my suggestion is to list down what specific and interesting topics you like, and someone should volunteer who is going to study and teach the topic for everyone. Many topics are there Java for example.
To start with, just copy the table of contents of a java book and you assign each chapter to the participants.

For advance programming topics, there are many good topics are there like iphone development, spring, hibernate, lingo, some j2ee, junit, etc.
