Will you pay me for that? hahahahaha. If they really do pay based on "lines of codes". I'll be glad to do so!!!! mwahahahaha!!!

hahaha, more lines of code means more lines to execute ergo bad performance in some cases, it's suppose to be the opposite, less line = more pay, hehehe

daghan hiring programmer.. u just have to show them that you know how to program.. beyond what is being taught in the classroom.. lahi ra gud ang industrial programming sa academic programming.

ayaw ug tuo anang mga classified ads oi.. some of them kay nagbuhat walay kalibutan sa programming..

during the interview, show your interest in programming, like unsa imo gibuhat pagcollege na programs, project ninyo or other research na mapakita na passionate ka about programming..

kanang magbuhat ug lisod kaau na out of this world programming exams, mga insecure na na mga supervisors, para ingnon maau kuno sila.. ayaw ka intimidate ana nila..

sad to say though, ang culture sa atong software development industry dire, daghan pa kaau mga pa-aron-ingnon maayong laki, pero selfish diay kaau sa ilang nahibaw-an, and dali kaau mumandar2x sa subordinates.. i hope ma-usab na in time.. good luck na lng..

Of course Lines of Code matters.

Say you're writing 1000 lines of spaghetti code for a project that is due within 2 days and then on your way home you met an accident and died instantly. The project manager decides to put another guy as your replacement. When he starts to look at your code...he would want to kill himself...run to the balcony and jump 6 floors!!!!

in cebu rate, i think you need this formula: sweldo = number of years experience * 10,000.

If you receive less than that, better go to manila. They paid lots of money. 80,000 is very low for 5 years experienced software engineer.
