I read my friend's blog today and I was shocked at her news. Somebody had literally taken one of her caricatures and used it in a poster advertising for an event. They basically cut and pasted the whole thing took out the caricatured Manny P head and changed it to Poohkyaw's. The worst thing pa is when she contacted the artist responsible to inquire about it he claimed it as his own drawing! (The nerve!)

Just because its posted online and it doesn't have a watermark doesn't mean its for free.

kta btaw panagsa mo gmit mn gyud ta ug reference sa atong layout na tamingan ra tingali to sa artist ang gbuhat sa imong friend then la nay tym mao iya gigamit... mao na if di ta gusto makawat atong artworks di nlng nato e.publish sa net or sa bsan asa.. be proud of it nlng bhalag di na mao ang nawng...hehehe

well,naa gyuy n-ana nga taw.... if u can talk sa organizer,basin makatabang cla nimo ana...

same story here, coz naay pinoy wannabe tattoo artist, na gigamit akong work as his portfolio and yet, ni sponsor pa ang owner sa shop na canadian sa iya papers,fare,etc aron lang maabot sya sa canada... was so shocled coz almost all of my work naa sa ilang site,good thing kay nakig email ko sa owner and hasta pud diay sya,nag investigate na daan coz the photos na gi-claim sa wannabe na iya mga work,layo ra kaau sa iyang work naa na sya didto... so i gave the owner a link to my my work...ni apologized gyud cya nako

so, iya gi terminate ang wannabe artist coz he spend thousands of dollars daw just for a lie, besides,gipa deport pa nya.....ang wannbe tagbaw pa ngayo ug sorry nako ug maypa unta daw wa nalang ko ni sumbong kay iya ra daw toh gibuhat para sa iyang pamilya aron mahatagan nya ug nindot na future..wa sya malipong,,, if gust sya diskarte, dili dapat muggamit ug laing taw...good for him,deport lagi!!!hehehe
