Thats kinda... convoluted dont you think? Not your argument, but the relationships between the different counties. Theoretically, the US may object to China and Pakistan having nuclear weapons, but Russia and China may not mind Pakistan having them.
Cuba or Venezuela, which are definitely not US allies, may object to the US having nuclear weapons and feel threatened. Is it right to ignore their valid concerns? Since the amassing of nuclear arms is a deterrent, then wouldnt it be logical for them to feel that having a nuclear weapon of their own would make them safer?
Again, im trying to be pragmatic here.
