but not being a priest. in a catholic church, they are given a chance as a minister of faith. the extension of the presbyter
Let say, he has a wife that he sleeps with and children that he takes care of. Does that diminish him the capacity of serving God's people through priesthood? I don't think so.dimished? of course yes!You might say marriage brings so much stress and pressure into a priest life. On the other hand, I think if they would experience how it is really to be married and with kids, they would give better advice on keeping a healthy family. I do not think being a family man hinders his capacity to reach out and teach but strenghtens it.
are you married? id no..get married and know the diffirence..
if you are married and you're not given your fulltime for your wife and kids....u have been mislead.
having kids? priest are entrusted with the whole flock....
" when JESUS appeared to PETER , the first Pope ..HE asked peter the rock.. Peter do you love me? he answer.." Yes my LORD.." FEED my sheep "said JESUS this is asked thrice..
now the burden of having so many children..my earthly father had the burden of having to takecare of the 11siblings in my family..the priest in my parish had the weight to carry the whole parish in my community..
presbyters are married to GOD in the ordination. sleeping with someone else is called adultery
who said they are not working 24/7?If you try to reason single priests are preferred because of time. Priests don't work 24/7, or at least, it's not really usual that priests offer their services the whole day. Priests do sleep and eat regularly, and watch Manny Pacquiao's match like the rest of us.
if you know a priest hu does not offer his works 24/7 to GOD, he is misleaded again.
working 24/7 to GOD does not mean praying 24/7...there are thing called eating.socialization.watching manny pacquiao for the glory of GOD.
" LOVE GOD with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength "
which word is hard to understand?
elaborate this..touching? physically? And no, I don't think Christ supports priests that touches people inappropriately during confessions.
another pervert? yes? man ..that's sexual abuse

this is it!
Mary does not need to be a priest to be called blessed!
she is the GREAT example of humble submission to the GOD plan for salvation..
now equality... did any man has abled to reach her blessed status? none
now in common masses.. did any man was able to match the woman's pain at the fangs of death during childsbirth?
none! simply none..and that's just 1 example of essence and grace of being a woman in which not a man wud have.
GOD had plan for everyone.
and being a priestess in a catholic church is not one of the graces..

I'm sorry for my ignorance about this but I think your answer doesn't satisfy my question but just offers a priest ZERO version. It tastes like sugar but it's not really sugar. Do the ministers of faith marry people, give anointing, give confessions or the other sacraments?but not being a priest. in a catholic church, they are given a chance as a minister of faith. the extension of the presbyter
If you mean by full time husband as someone that spends his 24/7 together with his family, I don't think that is possible and as I said neither does a 24/7 priest exists. 24/7 is a romantic fallacy in itself since most people have to sleep, including fathers.dimished? of course yes!
are you married? id no..get married and know the diffirence..

So what do we mean by "full time"? For me full-time means a minimum of 8 hours.
A full-time job is usually 8 hours or more. I suppose being a full-time husband means spending 8 hours or more of quality time with your family.
So why not give this married guy a full-time job of being a priest and be a full-time husband as well?
I guess what I am saying is I don't think having the roles of fatherhood (having kids) and priesthood (God's work/vocation) as mutually exclusive. They don't have to contradict in terms of time but their roles are very different nonetheless. A father has the obligation to feed his family real food, clothes them, educate them and teach them to be productive citizens for the society. A priest on the other hand has to feed his flock with the Word of God, clothes them with righteousness, educate them of charity and be good members of the society.
OT: Pero bai sa kadaghan ninyo. Saludo ko sa imong papa bai. Lisod man gani tulo ra mi.
Can we just agree that everyone loves Manny Pacquiao at this time?presbyters are married to GOD in the ordination. sleeping with someone else is called adultery
who said they are not working 24/7?

This statement does not only apply for priests but to all of us." LOVE GOD with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength "
which word is hard to understand?
I was just restating my previous post by giving a clear example. But by trying to be vivid, I now realize that somehow I lost the intent of my post.elaborate this..touching? physically?
another pervert? yes? man ..that's sexual abuse
Okay, now back to women priests.
in some others church or religion, pwede ra.So why not give this married guy a full-time job of being a priest and be a full-time husband as well?
but not in the catholic church..
if for you 8hours is fulltime, you might be thinking of priesthood as a job.
well.. it's not. its a vocation.
and it's real that priest do their vocation 24/7. they are sworn to it.they are ordained to it.
as being a husband|father is a vocation also.they are sworn to it . they are tied to it 24/7.
[ if being a husband is only 8hours a day....maybe i should get another one for the remaining 16hours... ]
so priest should not in any way sleep with any woman..if they really cant control their urge. then they should get out of the vocation and get married..
"for it is better for them to get married than to be tormented by lust for life.."
but not having two vocations at a time
"and NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS..is he loves the other, he would difinitely hate the other...."
anyways..i can not blame anyone here who favors such ideas of married priest and woman priest..
for sure there are a lot of factor that causes it..
you may say many things...but gender equality is not a reason.
each and everyone have been created with equal graces to be saved ( thats the purpose. ur salvation )
well, that is your POV. but as long as Vatican disallows such practice, you can't do anything except whine about your reasons and brag about equality issues. PJPII, using his full authority as the successor of Peter, states categorically that the Church cannot - not will not, but cannot - ordain women, now or in the future.
as long as the Catechism of the RCC states that all 12 apostles were men, and Christ commissioned men as priests, then we can't do anything about that. although, you can form your own religion and ordain women if you want to, and while you're at it, be the pope too. isn't that wonderful?
it all comes down to simple logic. there are things that are meant for men, and things meant for women. we can't have everything at this same time. men can't be nuns, can't get pregnant, or can't get female genitals (naturally). in the same way, women can't be priests. and, no, don't argue that
priests are not the only persons with faith, duty, and beliefs of such caliber. take note that Mary, the mother of Christ, became the vessel of the Messiah, and no priestly honor could ever overshadow that.
Inter Insigniores:
Only a baptized man (vir) receives sacred ordination. The Lord Jesus chose men (viri) to form the college of the twelve apostles, and the apostles did the same when they chose collaborators to succeed them in their ministry. The college of bishops, with whom the priests are united in the priesthood, makes the college of the twelve an ever-present and ever-active reality until Christ’s return. The Church recognizes herself to be bound by this choice made by the Lord Himself. For this reason the ordination of women is not possible.
