weak up SUN!!!!
May they aren't POST-PAID subscribers who have experienced the degradation of service.Originally Posted by riko diko
Here are my bad and good experiences with SUN.
BAD:
1. I bought a Daylight Sim but when I try to make a call, there's no load in it.
2. I called the Sun Hotline almost everyday after I reported the incident but until now I haven't got any remedies from them, same old promises that they will follow-up.
3. It took me almost 10-15 minutes just to be able to talk to the operator. Imagine the hassle.
4. When night comes, it is so hard to make a call since the network is so busy. It's like passing through the eye of the needle.
GOOD
1. I was able to save thousands of pesos with hours of phone conversation even with useless topics.
2. Globe and Smart have lowered their rates because of the threat coming from Sun.
3. It's like your not missing your love one upon hearing her voice. There's really a big difference with listening and talking than just reading a text. And you can do that in long hours, not just in minutes, without having to think the cost of making a call.
OVERALL ASSESSMENT
Then entry of Sun Cellular to the communication business is advantageous. It lowers the existing call rates from other companies. Their service features are very innovative and helpful like unlimited phone and text, it really shook the industry. Though it needs to improve it's services but overall it's a good thing.
i highly welcome and even thankful to Sun for joining the TelCo arena but it is their below the belt, low blow competition tactics which is bringing down the standard that totally pisses me off not to mention at my expense, a postpaid subscriber while the prepaid subscribers are enjoying.
that sure is not fair!Â* if sun wants to give free calls, then they should give it to their postpaid subscribers ONLY at a fixed monthly rate otherwise they should improve their facilities to give free calls to both prepaid & postpaid subscribers if they really want to rake in majority of the cellphone using public.
i won't be surprised if one of these days sun will be owned by either smart or globe.
in the meantime, whatever it takes, they are not getting a single peso out of me.
I sympathize with LytSlpr! We also had a post-paid subscriber account and the service went from decent to dismal! It became awful. This is umfair to post-paid subscribers who were the ones that got Sun afloat in the first place!
No one says Sun should not have entered the telco arena. What we are saying is that those greedy bastards are shortchanging us, and that they should be forced to improve before they fool more people.
I dnt knw if this thread is still active... but why dont you just quit the service they offeryou u complain too much!
We are lucky that SUN is doing this 'coz if it wernt for them do u think globe or smart would give u the promo unlimited text?? or 10cents per sec. or watever that is?? SUN is stil working on the signal... and for me the service is OK...
you cant say its LOUSY 'coz its unlimited... wat do u expect? people are chit chatting all the time so it gets busy... it's just like globe or smart during CHRISTMAS OR NEW YEAR... its hard to get thru 'coz alot of people are using the network... same sh!t as this...![]()

If some us of us, we would! But one of the things we are talking about are Sun's ONE-YEAR PREPAID SUBSCRIPTIONS.Originally Posted by azn_boi
