The LOGIC of the sound of a single clap? ill use single since it sounds better than one clap.
the LOGIC of the sound of a single clap, is the understanding of the reciever of the sound, since that sound will give the reciever that exact meaning of that clap. Let say in TAEKWONDO, when i teach the sport a clap means many things to my students but that depends on stage phase of the pratice or session were already at.
at the start of the cession my single clap means to stand, the next single clap forthem to make a bow, so on and so forth. thus a single sound of a clap doesnt mean a single LOGICAL understanding but it depends how that sound of a single clap being conditioned to its listeners.
What is the sound of one hand clapping?
People who know, do not know. People who do not know, do not know. There is no wisdom. There is no merit.
What is the sound of one hand clapping?
This question is a traditional zen koan -- a question posed by a Zen master to a student, to be pondered from within the routine of daily life until the answer opens the true heart of the question. All koans must be answered from within the realm of one's own personal experience, and thus be encountered in the journey of living rather than in the rationalizations of logical thought. Accordingly, each koan has many answers, answers that will vary both in words and in the stirring of one's mind and emotions. Even the wisest Zen teacher cannot tell you your own answer. You must find it for yourself, and not in your mind, and not in the comfort of a rational response. Once experienced, the answer is often a life changing experience, and needs no confirmation from anyone else.
What is the sound of one hand clapping? To know, you must experience those aspects of your own life that create this very soundless sound (emotion) within your own being. People who have truly lived with a koan for an extended period of time come to experience the answer. In my own travels down this path with this particular question, there eventually came to be a certain opening of awareness, and a manifestation of the heart of compassion became tangible within. In my experience, the sound of one hand clapping is the emotion of loneliness deeply felt in an increasingly self centered pursuit of enlightenment Experiencing this "answer" turned me away from relative isolation and the self-centered desire to "know," and towards the world and the practice of metta.
What is the sound of one hand clapping in your own life?
I have just aswered your question and here you come with a very out of this world answer. you said it could be asnwered by logic, now that i have answered it logically in a simple with the same thought as your very out of this aswer...... your are not proving something here bro your just making things complicated even its simple, always emphasizing on your mized ideas of things.
nag-tuo ka mabitik ko nimo? wrong, san antoniong way kaluoy. your concept is limited. your logic is inaccurate. and theology is the dead-end to study/know/understand God? there are infinite things you can't possibly know about God that can be injected in that finite so-called mind of yours. why don't you go back to your sacraments, san antoniong way kaluoy. who knows, anha ko magpa-confirmation nimo. hahaha!
" sayop ka diha bro ky sa LOGIC and CONCEPT stands for all that exist and doesnt exist. ingon pa nila its just in your mind (PHILOSOPHY) and the ultimate end is GOD (THEOLOGY)"
Dis you really undersatnd what i mean? you know kapoy kau mag discuss og logic, maybe you should to your alma mater and request a refresher for logic para u ka sabot!!!!!!!!!!! YES its correct that the ultimate end is GOD (THEOLOGY) whats wrong with the statement? dah?
THEOLOGY is the tool to help us understand the GOD, with theology we are able to define formally, things that are divine, but i did not say theology is the UNLTIMATE end? WALA! bro read and undersatnd the statement ok!
MY ANSWER
and here are again, with your ellogical conclusion, you said i cannot, BUT I WAS ABLE TOO. now this is your claim. LOGIC again is the art and science of reasonning, now i have aswered your question without any reference books, and still not based on my logic? WAAAAAAAAH! kahadlok!!!! asa man tawn na you g kuha bro, hubog ka! or nag pa hubog2x lang!
This post from me...
was commented with reg but this...And I believe you DO NOT TRANSCEND your mind's limitation, but rather MAXIMIZE it.
First off, I DO NOT HAVE AN IDEA how to maximize that capacity of your mind, and I, out of humility will not linger on things I know I do not have interest and time for.How do you maximize it by thinking logically about Metaphysics?
But for the sake of my explanation, let me elaborate my statement. I believe, therefore it is my comprehension regardless of my educational background but relied mostly on my experience and contemplation of daily things, that there is no possible way that you may transcend or surpass your current mind's ability of thinking. Why, because our mind itself as it is right now(allow me to put on subject my own thinking) is not yet at a full functional capacity, my proof for this is our inability to properly comprehend our dreams, unexplained information, stock knowledge which we sometimes don't even realize we know but will come out of all a sudden when a certain stimulus is present. Therefore our mind has got to offer more because it manifested such feat which is hard to comprehend by our conscious mind but rather of something, could be a part of our mind, that we cannot readily access or control. So there is, in no possible way(please refer to my first line if ever you feel a rush of blood into your nose) that you can transcend a mind which you, as a being own but still cannot fully comprehend, what we can do, is to maximize it as what those "mystics"(reg keep saying) has done, they somehow unlock features of our minds that is very bewildering that we may think that we have surpassed are our thoughts, which is a total impossibility, for you to exist out of your consciousness.
