@FK: muagi gyud kag initiation rites para kaapil AKRho.. kay wala pa sad ko kadungog ug fraternity na walay initiation rites. so probably, naa gyud...
i know bai that initiation rites are there... ma AKRho or dili, i was just asking SPRINGY tungod kay AKRho man siya...

but to me man gud daghan pamaagi to test the commitment and loyalty of a person thru initiation aside from that bunal2x barbaric thing.

    - commitment , acquiring new BRAVE and STRAIGHT members has nothign to do with the initiation .

    - speaking of safety , mas daghan ang na INJURED sa duwa na GOLF compared sa AMERICAN FOOTBALL . Get the drift bai ?
no i don't get the "drift". please expound in relation to safety in frat initiations.

you don't have to be a fratman to know if binulanay takes place or not. a classmate of mine was put in prison because he took part in the beating in an initiation in one of the registered frats in UP diliman, wherein the neophyte died, autopsy results points to the beatings. all my batchmates knew that, and no we didn't hear it from the media, it was first hand news from our suspect-classmate himself.
and to tell you more how i knew that bunalanay takes place, i've been in high-school and college, i've been invited several times by member-friends of different frats, and binulanay is what they have in common.

initiations, i say is good. one has to be worthy to be in the brotherhood. now as a fratman man tell us what exactly are the objectives of initiations, if it isn't to measure commitment, bravery etc.. what is it for?

i want to make it clear that i don't have anything against frats. i don't mind you do your thing, just don't kill anyone etc...

Â* Lets put it this way , kung naay ma INJURED sa duwa na golf , how much more sa frats who engage physically ??

you don't have to be a fratman to know if binulanay takes place or not.
And how did that happened ? Do you know the sacred rites , initiation of fraternities that takes place? Its like " its ok to prescribe a medication to a patient even though you are an engineer .

mate of mine was put in prison because he took part in the beating in an initiation in one of the registered frats in UP diliman, wherein the neophyte died, autopsy results points to the beatings. all my batchmates knew that, and no we didn't hear it from the media, it was first hand news from our suspect-classmate himself.
Then dont generalized , who cares bisan registered frat pa na sa Harvard . Speak for that frat alone .. is it SIgma Rho ?

Â* Ive been in HS and college too .... I dont know all or what takes place in general .

Value the camaraderie ..... maka isog diay na ang fraternity membership ? Hihihihi .. shudi mga ate !!

i want to make it clear that i don't have anything against frats. i don't mind you do your thing, just don't kill anyone etc...
Any basis why you said that just do your thing as long you dont kill anyone ?
