I agree with you mao ni sulti ko na we are only looking at the smaller picture . Its just that JUSTIFIABLE lang kaau ang discussion na himuon ug issue ang fraternities anything that can be linked kay " IT SELLS " in regards sa MEDIA HYPE . Examples would be , ga tapok ang Philippine Marines sa usa ka lamisa , sa pikas kay Philippine Army ... chances are big naay gubot mahitabo , not because of their numbers but of their position in the society na sugnuran sa media na ma misinterpret sa public .

@ FK .... I cannot disclose any information regarding to your specific question ( answerable in a YES or NO ) bai FK but all I can say is naay INITIATION gyud both PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY . You only find that out after being oriented and signing the waiver .

the fraternities some of us might know are just a tiny speck of the big realm of fraternities. Â*therefore, it is unwise to generalise from the misdoings of a minority. Â*stereotyping won't get anyone nowhere.

bitaw, I just wonder ngano gyud naay binulanay? if you want to measure commitment, you can do that in some other way, and not bunal bunal. if you want to make sure your new members are brave and are straight, you can do that in some other way also, mas accurate pa, mas layo pas patay, mas safe, mas nindot pag dungog inyong grupo. ngano jud?

kanang mga fratwars ok ra na basta way patay ug basta way innocente ma apil. they have their reasons man sad why they beat up other groups, ilaha nana.

- commitment , acquiring new BRAVE and STRAIGHT members has nothign to do with the initiation .
