    Default help! dog owner newbie!!

    1. i finally have my first dog and i love her very much. she is a white shipoo running 2 months and 1 week. she keeps crying and thus staining her fur around her right eye..

can anyone tell me how to clean off the stains? im afraid that the stains will be permanent sooner or later or something..

i went to pipers pet shop and they suggested me a "crystal eye" kind of soap-shampoo to remove the stain.. but im open to other suggestions. like maybe home remedies or etc..

    2. she bites and bites AND bites everything and anyone right now.. i understand she is teething at this age of a pup? and its their way of "playing" and their fun. how long will this stage last? i frankly dont mind the biting since her teeth are not yet sharp enough to hurt anybody. my concern is what if sooner or later she bites off someone that isn't me? like my mom or sibling.. i dont want them to hate her or let one fear the other. i gave her 4 different toys to play with. 1 teddy bear, 1 stuffed dolphin, 1 rattle ball and those milk chew toys from caminade. she plays with them sometimes but still prefer biting on human flesh. hahaha. lol. any advise regarding this? how can i train her to stop biting and chewing anything and anyone?
    thanks!

try also using purified water rather than faucet/hard water kai ingon sila ang taas na mineral content sa hard water maka contribute daw sa excess "tearing" sa eyes...

the crying is actually due to her/him needing something. like a poo time, urinate time, socialize time. if your new pup is NEW with your environment or newly "rehomed" he/she probably miss his/her littermates or his/her old environment.

assure it that youre there and its not alone.

the tears is "probably" not from CRYING but from physical factors.
if the pup is tearing; and its a shipoo have her fur/hair in the eye area away from the eyes probably by a bow/ribbon or a clip(daily maintenance).

keep the tear residue OFF the area by using plain mineral water to dispose off stains. keep cleaning it off with this solution. same as you wipe off/dry residues when he/she drinks waters and his whisker area gets wet.

I've already experienced this one with my late Labrador. She used to have this teary eyes. What I did was apply APPLE CIDER VINEGAR around the eye, somehow it worked for me and kept her eyes dry.

i got my pup about 1 month ago this coming friday. i also consider physical factors contributing to the stains on her eyes. 1. the floor she runs around all day is scrubbed and clean with domex and lysol. assuring her she can run and practically lick the entire floor without any risk of digesting anything thats not suppose to be digested. 2. her water is from the fridge and i monitor her water cup frequently since i notice she often drinks especially in the afternoon when its HOT. 3. i have been wanting to tie up her fur around her head but somehow it aint long enough to be tied. hehe..

but thanks for the advise.. i might consider in modifying the physical environment of my new pup. i might be doing something not entirely right but i just didn't see it.

    she's quite spoiled actually.. hehe..
