Traditional Buddhism don't recognize a God.

Yes, Siddhartha was Hindu, and I think the reason why he left Hinduism was that he rejected a tenet of Hinduism. So even in that Hinduism and Buddhism differ. More importantly though, Hinduism is polytheistic while Buddhism is atheistic.

No, Hinduism doesn't have millions of gods. The gods that you are referring are actually the HOLY TRITNITY, Namely:

    Brahman - GOD the Father,
    Krishna - GOD the Son
Shiva - GOD, the Holy Spirit

ALL ARE ONE and not separate!

    Peace!
But they do have millions of gods. In fact they have as many as 33 million gods!

Maybe That millions of gods that you are referring to my friend could only be those humans who have realized their GOD potential which is our Higher Self or Atman in Sanskrit like Jesus The Christ but not the GOD who is all in all. Jesus even said that we are gods! It's even in the BIBLE my friend!

I would not say that Hinduism is polytheistic because in the VEDAS which is the oldest Sacred book of all religions, they only submit to the one true GOD who is BRAHMAN or GOD the Father!

Also, I would not say that Buddhism is Atheistic my friend since they recognize that there is a SOUL and Atheist don't believe in a SOUL.

Maybe, but that doesn't change the fact that they recognize many gods.

These other divinities are expressions of Brahman. Nevertheless, Hindus consider them as gods, which means that Hinduism is still polytheistic.

    They don't recognize a god, therefore they're "a-theistic".

Yes my friend there is Hinduism who advocates Polytheism and Monotheism too! All in all they submit to the supreme GOD who is Brahman who is the GOD all in all.

Brahman (bráhman-, nominative bráhma ब्रह्म) is a concept of Hinduism. Brahman is the unchanging, infinite, immanent, and transcendent reality which is the Divine Ground of all matter, energy, time, space, being, and everything beyond in this Universe in the Hindu religion.[1

That definition of Brahman is similar to the traditional concept of God.

However, it can't be denied that Hinduism is truly polytheistic. It can't be monotheistic in any sense because then you'll have to deny the other 99.99% of the 33 million deities.

I found this one my friend. I believe that Hinduism is Monotheistic as I researched and confirmed this one.

    Is Hinduism monotheistic or polytheistic?

Hinduism is monotheistic. The many idols or gods are all representations of the characteristics of a supreme being or God.
