personally, id vote for him.

Why? He's proven enough that he's for the people of mandaue. First and foremost, his main agenda was to clean up and i mean, clean up, the city. very diplomatic, was able to do the job of securing aid for the city's emergency response team without even bragging about it. You never saw this in the news but i can tell you based on personal account.

i think he's taking after his dad (i think) who once was mayor of mandaue before the martial law years. if you remember, he was a "hands-on" mayor. supervising road construction and even sweeping the streets.

i have nothing against ruiz though. maybe she can do the job too. but who knows until theyre under the spotlight right?

Ang mga project karon gi himo by administration. meaning. ang city hall na ang gabuhat sa project, dili na ang contractor. this is beneficial kay di na mo agi sa conseho, dili nila mababagan. makalihok, pakapadayon sa syudad ang iyang mga projects. If im not mistaken, some FINISHED INFASTRUCTURE PROJECTS of the mayor include: concreting and/or asphalting of roads (ang akong nabantayan kay naa sa pagsabungan ug sa centro. di man ko tantong laagan gud.kaning sa pagsabungan pwerteng pagka taasa.) Barangay Halls, day cares. classrooms.

With regard to other services, Peace and order is better now. im sure you have read in the news nga 2nd lowest ang Mandaue in terms of crime volume. Not bad for a highly-urbanized city. Ang atong different sectors nga wala tagai ug pagtagad sauna, are now flourishing like the differently-abled and our senior citizens. Even our sports is hyper-active now. this is good for the young ones and the young once. atong seniors active kaayo sa gateball. during the fiesta inter-barangay league, there were 11 games being carried out. these were: volleyball, basketball, softball, chess, gateball, badminton, tennis, running, table tennis, boxing, and one more, i forget. the talents of the mandauehanons are also given emphasis especially during the fiesta. naay mandaue idol, dancesport. i had tremendous fun watching the pop dance and ballroom dancing competition. there is a revival in the city of Mandaue now. maghinayhinay na ug balik ang pride sa mandauehanon.

one more thing: ASA MO MAKAKITA UG MAYOR FROM ANYWHERE ELSE NGA DIDTO MAG-OFFICE SA DUMPSITE PARA MA FOCUS ANG PROBLEM SA BASURA SA SYUDAD??!! If this isn't sincere public service, i dont know what is. for this alone, i salute Mayor Jonas Cortes.
