try this: Plug it into the PC, hold the power switch in the 'on' position, THEN trigger the reset button, (hold it in for a few seconds). make sure you feel the reset button depress.

or this: Plugged it into charger, held down play button and switched power to on. hold it. a reboot screen will come up, select last option.
