Karylle puts one over Marian Rivera?

Karylle was recently launched as the new female endorser of Blue Water Spa along with male image model Akihiro Sato. But since the past female endorser of the said spa was Marian Rivera who was rumored to have caused the breakup of Karylle and Dingdong Dantes last year, this soon set off speculations that Karylle had gotten one over Marian Rivera.

However, at the grand launch of Blue Water Spa’s new services, the spa’s management immediately clarified that it has been their tradition to get new celebrity endorsers every year. The first pair was Toni Gonzaga and Brad Turvey, which was followed by Marian and Piolo Pascual tandem.

On her part, Karylle didn’t see any reason to turn down the endorsement. The singer-actress told ABS-CBN.com that she has been going to Blue Water Spa ever since it opened a few years ago and was already familiar with the quality of their services.

Months after her much publicized split with Dingdong, Karylle is still haunted by questions concerning her ex-boyfriend. The 28-year old revealed that she sought the advice of her mother ZsaZsa Padilla on what she should do about issue. “I asked her if I should still answer questions about Dingdong or ‘wag na. She said na I just answer the questions and eventually it will die down naman. Ngayon konti na lang naman ang nagtatanong.”

For now Karylle said that she is enjoying her single life and devoting her time to work. Her album Time For Letting Go is already out and she currently stars in the top-rating Komiks presents Mars Ravelo’s Nasaan Ka, Maruja? Karylle will soon star in the teleserye Dahil May Isang Ikaw with Jericho Rosales.

Rumors about a romance blossoming between Karylle and Jericho have long been floating around, but the singer-actress denied that the actor is courting her and clarified that she is not yet ready to get into a new relationship. “Nagkikita kasi kami ni Echo madalas sa Genesis (talent management) and when I moved to ABS-CBN nakasama ko siya sa I Love Betty La Fea. Maraming kaming napag-uusapan na common sa mga buhay namin so we learn a lot from each other. Hindi naman ako nililigawan ni Echo. Friends lang talaga kami, hindi ko alam kung bakit walang naniniwala. Siguro marami na rin nagsabi dati na friends lang sila pero hindi naman talaga. Magkasama lang kami sa work. Wala namang nanliligaw sa akin. I always ask myself kasi naiisip ko ready na yata ako magka-relationship uli. But then nare-realize ko hindi pa ako ready. Hindi naman ganun kadali ‘yun. Siguro soon magiging ready na ako. Minsan I go on group dates pero hanggang dun lang.”

now this is interesting, lets see what will happen, coz it was since the Marimar days of Marian that her critics said she wont last for a year, but still there she is, bagging one of the best role in Phil. TV, Darna, I'll remain skeptic and wont jump into a conlclusion, so lets see what happens next

and dhow did u know its the "peak of popularity" for Marian? also, i beg to disagree, some maintains their popularity and became immortal to the minds of the people such as FPJ, Dolphy,Sharon, Vilma and many2x more, your logic doesnt seem to apply here
