a true Pinoy mangga/anime-- lots of action, set in the contemporary life of the Philippines... there will be familiar elements of science fiction and fantasy-- if I were to start off with a Mangga series, here this one idea I have called NEXUS(NEKSUS, in Pinoy)... imagine our planet serves as the gateway(the nexus) and battlefield between two warring worlds, Ilumina ruled by a heirachy of Godlike Enchanters and Anito Fairae versus the world Luna, populated by the Chimaera Anino Race and ruled by a malevolent Hades, and his omnipotent ArchGeneral Lukas.Â* But there is a prophecy that in the Nexus(our World) a Hero will rise and bring an end to the War...

Symphony, Matriach of the Fairae sends vassals Kiara and Mikel to Earth to seek out the Hero.Â* Guided by the Nexus Pendant, a magical ornament that awaken latent Aura powers, Kiara and Mikel finds Adrian- your typical goodhearted, wildspirited, high school student whose only interest is to become a Martial Arts Champion. But when Adrian and his friends gets involved in the Eternal Conflict between the Anitos and the Aninos, their world turns upside down, LITERALLY!Â*

There are three mystic devices that hold the balance between Lumina, Luna, and Lupa(what they call the Nexus).Â* The Celestial Mirror or God's Eye held by Symphony of the Anitos.Â* The destructive Sword of Darkness which bears the Eye of Night wielded by the mysterious Lukas, and finally The Eye of Soul which is borne by the Hero of Prophecy.Â*

anyway, here is my idea

<Medieval Setting>
a soldier wakes up to find that his master has been murdered. all evidence points to him as the murderer. determined to find out the truth, he journeys on, eventually leading him back to his own country.

out of money, (and through some stupid twist i have yet to think of), he becomes a waiter in some rough-and-tumble pub. but everyone there seems to have some strange secret. there's his sleazy boss who happens to be an extremely good knife fighter. a co-waiter with keen senses and an inclination to stick to the shadows. and a frequent customer who just "happens" to have 12 elite warriors at his beck and call.

apart from that, everything else is pretty normal. except one day, the new prince returns with a grand entrance (a la prince arthas in warcraft 3) and implements a different brand of rule to the peaceful kingdom...
