I'm new to the game also (from basketball to flag football). I'm a rookie and I'm playing Wide Receiver. Wala ko team kay naa man ko sa states. Pero the time I was there I was watching the practice (LoKal) team and they are not that good. Not coached enough, no gameplan, no schemes, no nothing. Actually even a local team here can beat them easily. But I'm hoping to get a coaching position when I get back in cebu.

Thats good to hear someone with knowledge coaching you guys. Yeah grabeh kaayo ang training ana. Pero he has to remember its a flag football unless you really want to win that bad. If so, yeah work out gyud bro. I see you play WR, you'll be fine. Remember, you have to get on top of the defensive back to make a play. Also suggest to your coach that work on the defensive line like crazy. Make them goo fast. Really fast. Put preasure on QB even not getting any sacks. Just make sure you guys get in QB's mind. Also if you guys play offense and you line up as WR, it won't hurt to scan the defense. If you see something is not right audible to you QB, that way it'll help reduce turnovers.

I think your coach knows about the 'Down' system. First downs always. I mean always first downs. But hopefully he'll do good. I can feel that he is going conservative on the plays. If its his call then yeah. Keep me posted about your training and such. Also I have a friend in the Lokal team named Mike Genabe, he knows me so if you see him tell him what up.

@Claire - Yeah I was there not to long ago. Again hopefully cebu teams can do better and I don't like the idea of coed games. It just doesn't sound right. Anyways I really wanted to work with them players but they are too full of themselves and not listening. But anyways are you into football in general? Hey when is the next season starts? Just talking about football keeps me excited so do you have like YM or MSN?

I think the season will start sometime in March. And I've heard that there's a possibility that the games will be held in MEZ1 football field in Mactan.. I'm not sure though. Hey claire, are you in CFFL also? We need some more players for the girls' Team. Asa diay ka gapuyo?

Hey do you know how much is the fee to enter a team in the league? And what is the set up? 9 on 9 or 7 on 7?
