Here's the thing....(in my case at least...)

If I wanted to succeed at anything (may it be MLM, traditional business, or even in other aspects in life), I'd rather get the facts and decide on my own based on those facts...

Or should I have to ask for anyone's opinions and advice, I'll most likely ask it from the person I want to emulate or the person who did what I wanted to do...

yet of course... out of 100% only 3% are successful in this kind of business... and reality shows in the past years. as what ncmknight was saying... network marketing is designed to fail.

Your friend is one in a million. Consider him very very very lucky to make it big in MLM. May I know anyway his positioning and how long he has been in the business? How many successful downlines does he have? I am asking for the downline success because they're the ones pushing the upline upwards.

I don't really care if you ignore the chart. You'll find out for yourself anyway a few months from now.

I believe network marketing is not bad per se. Of course, there are plenty of dubious network marketing companies out there. We only need to be careful and do our research first before we venture into that type of business.

Network marketing is just like any business in that it requires hard work and perseverance. It's not a get-rich-quick vehicle, and in fact I think get-rich-quick schemes are really things to be watched out for for they are marks of a fly-by-night company.

So I guess the bottom line really is that there are legitimate and illegitimate network marketing companies.

I still want to know the name of your business, how many successful downlines your friend has, how long he has been with the business and is he still doing it now.
