as for your inquiry, Intel's Pentium Dual Core series are very competitive with 3k or below, if the mobo is decent, you can even overclock the processor to 3GHz speed. look into E2xxx series like E2160, E2180 or E2200. they're pretty much on the price range you specified.

hi baby reisa, sakto sila, if you are looking for a complete computer system (or bisag ang computer rig lang, without monitor) you can get a scond hand pentium4 or celeron set with 3thousand budget. and if cpu only (processor) lang you can get pentium dual core E2200 for less than 3thousand pesos (pero again, kana cpu only, without casing, hard drive, dvd and other stuff) - the word "cpu" man gud is very much wrongly used by other people.
