WHY NOT JUST GO FOR THE SAMSUNG COMBO 32X10X40 + 12X DVD ROM.... DON'T KNOW IF ITS AVAILABLE IN RP, BUT ITS BEEN RELEASE QUITE SOME TIME NOW.

My 10x Sony SCSI is still working great for me... just bought a new Sony 48x IDE... SCSI is still champ for me... I can play games with my SCSI unit while burning... anyway, I also vote for Yamaha for Audio CD's...

samsung combo 48x24x48 16x dvd it's cheaper than buying a dvd-rom and a writer, and it reads cds my lg collins writer couldnt read.
