When you buy any items from the store 10% EVAT was added right? Hopefully by next month February 2006, another 2% will be added to add up 12% will be directly charge to each individual consumers. Direct na tax ni bro F.Y.I. lang.....

Dumpit fires gun, causes commotion among foreigners

SPO2 Adonis Dumpit is again involved in another altercation, this time involving students from South Korea and Japan who are in Cebu to study the English language.

The foreigners are staying at the former Harbor View Hotel, which is now the Cebu Pacific International Language Services School (CPILS).

An American national, who teaches at the school, came to the Sun.Star Cebu office yesterday afternoon to complain that Dumpit harassed and threatened 15 of his students, who drinking past 8 p.m. in a store on F. Villa St., about 60 meters from CPILS.

Plastic tables and chairs were placed by the store owner almost in the middle of the road for people who would buy food and drinks.

Dumpit arrived, driving a multicab. He reportedly rammed one of the plastic tables and fired two shots in the air with a handgun when the foreign students approached him.

Dumpit admitted firing shots in the air because one of the Koreans tried to attack him.

“I told them that this is the Philippines and they should follow our laws here. They were drinking in the middle of the street, which is a violation of a city ordinance,� he told Sun.Star Cebu in a mobile phone interview yesterday.

He said he rammed one of the plastic tables because it blocked the road . He said he later advised the store owner to make sure roads are free of obstruction.

“They can’t block the road. Foreigners should also respect our laws,� he said.

F.Y.I. - 3 cousins were killed by Vigilantes group. last week, 2 of them suspected to be a drug lord while the other one is innocent. I forgot the exact place sa Cebu area.

Yeah direct tax, but the money they used to buy the items were stolen from innocent civilians...
