may i ask you what kind of stocks or what company's stocks will go for a long term you must be specific. coz if people will still stick to the "Old rules of Money" which is "long term investing and diversify" i think it is not good idea.

warren buffet is still focusing in his investment on what will happen. coz we are now in the information age. People must know and be knowledgeable of what they invest in. yah i agree that no one can predict the market if stocks investing is concern, but what market are you talking to?

if you are reffering to an average investor and not financially intelligent yah i agree with you but if we are Fundamental like warren buffet we can predict not the average markets but the business as well as the sopisticated investors.

Long term investing is not bad but you must qualify your answer, what stocks we will go for the long term?

can you tell us why stocks will go up? take note i'm asking WHY stocks are going up? or maybe let say what stocks will be in bull market and in bear market? just for clarification ok friend

It turned out to be the worst time to buy coz the market plunged that year. Anyway, I've since regained my composure and started buying again this year. the market is slowly starting to come back and I'm very excited.

My hot stocks are Metrobank (MBT), Aboitiz Power (AP), Security Bank (SECB) and Alliance Global (AGI). I'm really just a small time investor. To give you an idea, I only buy on average about P5k for every purchase I make. So far this year, I've made about 5 or so purchases.

My goal is to reach upwards of 10million pesos in 25 years for my retirement. I did the projections and it is very doable. I am not a stockbroker or someone affiliated with one. I work as a marketing exec for a company in IT Park and I am doing my best to grow my money so I'll have a nice retirement. I don't want to end up poor when I'm old.

For those who are interested in the stockmarket, I think now is the best time to start buying. Stocks have been pounded by the financial crisis but are slowly making a comeback. I think there's a good chance we will see a bull market by the end of this year or early next year.

    Taga cebu ra mo diri?

Hindi po ko expert in investing but I try my best to be learned in investing, and like you I’m also small time investor.

If I may correct you a little, to be good investor we must know what we are doing. We must keep ourselves knowledgeable about all things not only inside of stock trading place but also in business system, things that surround us, we must aware financially.

I don’t say you are wrong what I’m trying to say is can you give some reasons why do you say it’s time to buy stocks? Or what kind of stocks do we need to buy? What kind of industry we will be in? And many more.

Financial crisis is not yet over I think, base on my research and study, nor is it already here. It’s coming!

Paper asset such as stocks, bonds or mutual funds etc. have money involve. We must aware of what happening to currency now. We must aware of what will happen soon.

The powerful country, the USA, is now in red warning! Their currency is now not only devaluing but if you just inform dollar is over! Every pinoy must know that our reserved currency is dollar and our country is dependent in USA. Once the US starting to decline so as our country follows.

We must consider many factors in investing; we must be knowledgeable why we are experiencing financial crisis.

fundamental is simple. long-term is simple.San Miguel Corp, for example. Do u think pipol will stop drinking beer in 20 years? Do u think Ayala will go bankrupt in 25 years? Do u think SM will shrink in 30 years? Do u think kids will hate Jollibee which can lead to the company declaring bankrupt in 15 years? I think, in this way, Stock investing will be so doable, and making money is so easy. One day, pipol will line up, not to buy loto ticket, but to invest in a Stock! Anybody can do it! enroll n my coaching program and we'll make it happen.

short term investment is similar to gambling so don't put all your eggs in one basket - diversify.

another mistake!!! can you please explain why we need to diversify? and where we will diversify?

hey, common sense. sometimes pipol fail becoz they forgot to use common sense. investing in stocks - use common sense. if u know the company, then understand their business - then it's a good BUY.
