I don't know kung tinuud ba naay 14 k gold ang 10 peso coin nga 2001 ,pero 2001 ra kuno, as what my friend had told me, nakasuway kuno siya nga gi palit iyang 10 peso coin year 2001, he had 2 pcs of it, he earned 400 pesos both,

Para nako duda ko tinuod gyud ni ( "DUDA" cause there is no solid evidence to support the illegation but only theoritical subjective data) kay, first gamay nalang ako nakit-an nga ning circulate nga 10 peso coin year 2001 rather I think wala naman gyud tingali and second naa may mga buyers nga willing to buy the coin .

So for me if you see 2001 coin better save it, anyway you got nothing to loose,.
Don't mind other people say dili tinuod because even though if its not true then at least you save some money for future use.

I have collected three 2001 10 peso coins but I do kept it myself just for collection purposes.

Btw, there's a violation on the Revised Penal Code in hammering out the core of a 10 peso coin and selling the mutilated one.

Art. 164. Mutilation of coins; Importation and utterance of mutilated coins. — The penalty of prision correccional in its minimum period and a fine not to exceed P2,000 pesos shall be imposed upon any person who shall mutilate coins of the legal currency of the United States or of the Philippine Islands or import or utter mutilated current coins, or in connivance with mutilators or importers.

Art. 165. Selling of false or mutilated coin, without connivance. — The person who knowingly, although without the connivance mentioned in the preceding articles, shall possess false or mutilated coin with intent to utter the same, or shall actually utter such coin, shall suffer a penalty lower by one degree than that prescribed in said articles.
