PC date is becoming late

hello,

the date/time setting in my pc seems to be getting late, or outdated even though i tried resetting it to the current date/time. i'm not sure of the specific term of this problem but does anyone know how to fix this? my hunch is that i need to replace the battery. but i'm not sure though. would like to hear from anyone's opinion. thank you

i just want to reply on this one bec this is one of my prob also. everytime i boot my pc. sige osab ang time, and i change the setting all the time. changing the battery. will try.
