its not the RAM, its the HD. when you install programs, there are files that are deposited in your profiles temp folder and over time as this folder bloats, windows will have a smaller space for virtual memory. try my advice on disk cleanup to empty the temp folders and verify the virtual memory setting in windows.
click start > right-click on my computer > select properties
on the system properties tab:
click advanced > click settings under performance
on the performance options window:
click advanced > select adjust best performance for programs > change
on the virtual memory settings window:
make sure your custom sizes matches the amount of memory installed or set it as System Managed. you need to restart after making the changes. kung naa pa gani low virtual memory na popup, scan for viruses or check na wla ka programs with memory leak through task manager.
