just a question, di diay pareha ang pump prices sa Manila and Cebu? When I left Cebu November 25, 38.76 na ang diesel ngari sa Cebu, pagmata nako sa Manila Nov 26, ang balita kay price rollback as much as 6 pesos sa unioil and diesel sa big 3 is at 36.78 ang diesel pero pagbalik nako Cebu kay 38.76 japon ang pump price sa diesel November 28. When the Big 3 announced a price rollback of 5 pesos dapat unta 31 kapin na lang ang diesel ron. can anyone explain?

2 pesos ra ang reduction sa diesel, 5 pesos ang rollback sa gasiline

but still that should mean 34 kapin na lang unta and not 36++ as reflected in pump prices in Cebu

grabeha jud aning mga oil companies. kng mu saka gamay ang price internationally abtik kay cla mu saka. nya kng mu ubos, us-usan lang ta ug tig 50centavos. ila rason kay last 3 months pa kuno nga stock mao dli dayun cla ka lower sa prices. pero nganu man dali kaayo ka saka? kita ra jud g boang ani nila ang goberno sad nga way ayu atik2 dayun ug check2 kunohay sa ilang mga records...way daug ang katawhan aning sitwasyona....

..dapat ibasura na ang oil deregulation law!!!..tungod ana, only the big companies like Shell, Caltex and Petron ang ga monopolize sa oil market nganhe sa Philippines..naa ra bay mga products na invent as substitute sa deisel as a fuel..pero tungod ani nga law..wa gyud tawn natagaan ug chances sa market ning productoha!..hahayz..mga kurakot sa gobyerno!..

Cebu Gov Gwen Garcia wants to meet next week w/ the three major oil players to discuss why prices of oil products in Cebu are higher compared to those in Metro Manila.

The Philexport-Cebu and the CCCI complained to PGMA during a recent cabinet meeting in Lapu2x City that oil prices in Cebu are about P5 higher compared to Metro Manila's pump prices.

Gwen to sue ‘Big 3’

AFTER learning that Cebuanos are paying P5 to P8 more for oil products than consumers from the rest of the country, Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia will seek redress of the “injustice” in court.

She will file today a criminal complaint against the country’s three oil firms for violating the Oil Deregulation Law.

“There is an injustice being committed to the people of Cebu.

We have to get to the bottom of this. I hope we can get a reasonable answer because if you don’t, we need to take proper action,” she told officials of Shell, Petron and Caltex-Chevron who attended a meeting at the old Capitol session hall yesterday.

For the governor, the P5 to P8 per liter difference in oil prices is “unacceptable.”
