No not praising...giving credit where credit is due

I don't have to cite....a lot of people mentioned that Jordan is a ballhog...who needs to cite when there are these:

    Stats from the NBA mismo:

Kobe at 21 year 2000 Field Goal Attempts: 1183
Jordan at 21 year 1985 Field Goal Attempts: 1625

Kobe at 22 year 2001 Field Goal Attempts: 1510
Jordan at 22 year 1986 Field Goal Attempts: 328 (Injury year)

Kobe at 23 year 2002 Field Goal Attempts: 1597
Jordan at 23 year 1987 Field Goal Attempts: 2279

Kobe at 24 year 2003 Field Goal Attempts: 1924
Jordan at 24 year 1988 Field Goal Attempts: 1998

Kobe at 25 year 2004 Field Goal Attempts: 1178 (w/o shaq na and he was injured but lets say it'll account for 400 attempts)
Jordan at 25 year 1989 Field Goal Attempts:1795

    sorry the numbers don't lie

Well guys... i think there's a lot of difference between classic basketball and the hiphop-ish scene basketball in the NBA.

If Jordan scores or attempts and scores more than his averages, classic audience will think he's definitely the greatest player ever to play and some, of course, thinks he's a ballhog.

If Kobe scores or attempts and scores more than his averages, the present audience will likely to react as a great achievement of course but a lot would think he's a ballhog.

There's no difference between them, in terms of being a basketball player, for they are great players and has the dedication to play in a very high level, branded ballhog or not they play with their full capcity and whatsoever. The only difference that i can think of is... character. The way one handles his personality and focus on and off the court and gives steady effort to put up numbers and help his teammates improve/involve to get the W.

I have nothin against Kobe of course, but it's all about the players' porential to lead and be lead.

Jordan is great because he involved his teammates in the game and knew when to pass / take charge. For kobe to reach that status, He will need to lead his team into the playoffs... that's where legends are born...

numbers doesnt really necessary speak about the greatness of the player. its his achievements and contribution to the team.

what does a 30+ point average mean when you cant lead your team to a championship

    dont phunk with ma heart...

but then the real answer is... Jordan can involves his teammates and Kobe CAN"T... cuz his a croc...accept it...

Jordan trust his teammates even if its a rookie...and again Kobe CAN'T...

If Tim Duncan had scored 81 points, the sports world would declare a national holiday. If Allen Iverson had scored 81 points, he would have rushed to "Oprah" to weepingly discuss his personal growth.

Bryant is allowed no such vacation from his past, and will be offered no such public redemption of his sins.

"In this society, we never give people a chance to come back to grace," Jackson said.

One columnist began his Bryant piece by writing about a selfish Bryant act from an All-Star game — eight years ago.

aba syempre...why would people declare a national holiday for him??...Â* (hello, World Wildlife Federation ni?)
