what does it mean to bump your own thread

Needless bumping / Bumping out of Buy & Sell - Bumping of topics without any valid or justifiable reason is strictly prohibited. You are only allowed to bump your own threads when in the Buy, Sell, Trade and Classifieds forum.

"up up up", "up for this item, still looking for buyers" and similar scenarios are just an example of bumping of threads and you are allowed to do this if you are the thread starter of that topic/thread. Simply, you are not allowed to up or bump other's thread unless you have reason to bump it (ex. item inquiry, price inquiry and etc.). Btw, the rule I quoted above is only applied in Buy and Sell section.
