yeah, keep saying that and all your news clippings.

basta ang mga pensioners ra ang nahibaw and they are NOT HAPPY and you KNOW it and our mini-poll here says it. dili ako ang nagpabuta, bungol kung dili ang mga tawo nga nagkuha-pamugas gikan anang pamilyaha. akong bugas di gikan diha or sa mga osmena mao na DILI KO BIASED.

di gyud ta mag abot kay loyalist man ka bisan itom na, puti gihapon sa imong panan-aw. worst, is you are trying to convince other people by way of your "presentations" here, either from family-owned news columns or self-serving websites.

me? chismis? unya imong sinaligan nga newspaper di pwede magpakatag ug propaganda/chismis?

news clipping is one way to validate a good argument. wa nakoy mahims kung imong mga argumento walay news clipping to back it up. LOLs

i know u r not happy w/ GSIS coz one of ur relatives have problems w/ GSIS. that's why itom ra gyud imong panan-aw to the point of making Winston black too. there goes ur problem. Black and white fallacy.

but as for me, i know people who have no problems w/ GSIS at all, and at the same time know people who have some problems too.

i don't take GSIS as all black or white u know unlike u who see it all black. mind u, i see GSIS with lots of colors...

i take it as unfair u saying that ngpakatag ko ug propaganda from sun.star which is not the case. i get from diff. sources u know. i take this instead as u propagating chismis against those persons.

GSIS implements new schedule of monthly pension
    05/03/2009 | 03:32 PM
    GMANews.tv

MANILA, Philippines-Government Service Insurance System will send pension via ATMs on the eighth day of every month instead of the usual first banking day, the state-run pension fund said in a statement.

In case the eighth day falls on a weekend or holiday, monthly pensions will be credited the next banking day.

GSIS said the new schedule aims to allow more pensioners to enjoy their monthly benefit since this is still faster than the old disbursement system through checks.

"The move was in response to numerous requests from pensioners to immediately resume the regular crediting of their pension in case their pension accounts are suspended due to their failure to renew their active status as pensioner," it said.

"With the new schedule, those who have renewed their active status on the last week or even on the last day of the previous month will be able to receive their pension immediately the following month," it added.

Former employees who retired from government service receive their monthly pension through their eCard Plus, which is used as an ATM card to withdraw their pension from any Bancnet, Megalink or Expressnet ATMs in the county.

Pensioners, qualified spouses and dependents of deceased old-age pensioners have to renew active status every year during their birth month to ensure they receive their monthly pension...

    Lawmaker blasts GSIS computerization program
By Dino Maragay Updated April 29, 2009 11:15 AM
    Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines – A congressman has hit the computerization program of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), calling it a “failure” for its inability to provide better and more-efficient service to its members.

According to Rep. Raul Gonzalez Jr., the GSIS continues to be hounded by service-related complaints five years after embarking on its massive computerization program.

"In fact, there is a move by GSIS officials to pin the blame for all the confusion and inconveniences being encountered by GSIS members today to a glitch in their computer program," Gonzalez said.

In filing House Resolution 1048, Gonzalez urges fellow lawmakers to conduct a probe on GSIS’ current computerization program under efforts to spot the alleged “glitches” in its system.

The GSIS massive computerization program kicked off in May 2003 aiming to provide better and more efficient service to its members. It entails the wholesale upgrading of computer hardware, installation of new software programs, overhauling of systems and procedures, reconciliation of manual and computer data, updating its premium contributions file and posting of its members' loan repayments.

    GSIS revenue up 43%
    By Ronnel Domingo
    Philippine Daily Inquirer
    First Posted 03:43:00 04/27/2009

MANILA, Philippines—The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) posted a 43-percent increase in revenue in 2008.

Data showed the GSIS earned last year P6.43 billion in insurance premiums, commissions for reinsurance undertakings and revenues from investments, up from P4.5 billion a year ago.

Of the amount, insurance premiums accounted for P4.56 billion or 1.8 percent higher than the P4.48 billion in 2007.

Net operating revenue from its general insurance business hit P1.74 billion, a turnaround from a net operating loss of P828.60 million in 2007.

The GSIS sells insurance policies for fire, engineering, marine hull and cargo, aviation, contractor’s all risk, bonds, motor car and personal accident.

The GSIS said it was trying to enter the compulsory third party liability business (CTPL) “in compliance with its mandate to issue all forms of non-life insurance,” although the move has ruffled the feathers of private insurance firms.

He still sucks in what way?

    GSIS

    1. For being a GSIS President whose Policies and Programs affects the life of corrupts employees and officials, Ghost beneficiaries, over-benefits pensioners and the GSIS mafia who have been feasted the funds for many years?

    2. For achieving an unimaginable milestones, where he was able to secure GSIS funds until Year 2050 from 2020?

    3. For removing those ghost, non-paying and over benefits pensioners whilst his team are trying to determine those under-benefits members. so, they will get the right for them?

    4. For attempting to do a Union busting to a labor union whose policies and actions tolerated and encouraged corruption in there lines? I don't know if this labor union are the one they called "The GSIS mafia".?

    5. For making almost all transactions done in computerized manner, thus, making staff-to-member contact are less prevailing or the members will no longer depend or beg with employees to speed-up the release of their benefits, in return they will pay them a so called "fixer's fee"?

    6. Any many more....please do the research about Mr.Garcia in GSIS. Be vigilant avoid being passive listener or reader. Research in all corner of issue will do?

    Other:

    1. For investing in Meralco, an investment that generates very high revenue to GSIS fund Thus, securing the future of GSIS members and if lucky, they will get more benefits?

    Suggestion to all GSIS members:
If you want to have more brighter future or perhaps retirement days. Make every 5% of your benefits/pension invest in Meralco (stock buying) until you are entitled to vote in favor of GSIS. If GSIS win, you win too because your benefits will increase as fund surplus raise. But confrontation with Meralco employees is inevitable because they will lost their benefits, the free unlimited electricity which currently shouldered by consumers via system loss fee. In this case, you are not just helping GSIS to help you gain more benefits/pensions but you also help people of Luzon to have cheaper electricity.

    2. For exposing the L*pez business empires anomalies?

    3. For making Meralco transparent to their consumer (which never happen before Mr.Garcia exposed their anomalies)?

    4. Daghan pa...kapoy na kamot ko sa pag type. Research nalang mo. As I said, be vigilant in researching don't be a passive reader.

In this way, I am highly agree with you. He is still sucks to those people who are doing nasty things in that agency.

Yap. But unfortunately, that is not necessary means that they have the right information then, that influence their feelings and what they believe.

But I agree, that most of them realized that they have made a wrong vote. This was after they have learned about Mr.Garcia,"what he is doing and where he is going". Despite of harassment and negative publicity done by giant network owned by his rival.

The poll will be more credible if we are going to reset it...and see what is the current sentiment of the people here. After they have seen the works of Mr.Garcia and the negative publicity done by his enemy are less effective or non-credible.

so what are you trying to say, that majority of the people who voted on this poll voted wrong and WG is all good? ana na lang gyud ka bogo or misinformed ang mga tawo diri? kuyawa gud!

^^^pls try to read his statements again in detail...what he meant may not be what u understood.

besides, why not take a look and opine on his enumerated arguments instead? getting passive again? IMHO, those are the meat of his arguments. actually they comprise around 80-90% of his post. why focus ur attention on the remaining 5-10%? (which is not the "meat" by the way). Coz citing our poll is a red herring and a bandwagon argument. A logical fallacy they say...

    per wiki,

A red herring is presenting data or issues that, while compelling, are irrelevant to the argument at hand, and then claiming that it validates the argument.

Bandwagon attempts to persuade the target audience to join in and take the course of action that "everyone else is taking." This technique reinforces people's natural desire to be on the winning side.

These techniques can be found under under logical fallacies.
