Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX DG II vs Canon 70-200 f2.8L (non IS lang kay sipa na kaayo ang price sa IS version)

hands down canon's 70-200 L's are the best of the best at that range.
built and feel of the canon is best gyud...
the sigmas finish on the 70-200 isnt something i adore hehehe but its still built like a tank same with the canon...but at 30% cheaper others might learn to love it...i just dont i guess bias lang ko sa L i dont know. (but i find the 18-200 OS sigma built/feel to be very nice even compared to the canon)

i think price factor is the only reason why both is a winner... price of the sigma, quality of the canon.

optically both are very very good...slight edge to the canon syempre specially at 2.8 wide open.
focus speed also slight edge to canon. nothing hugely dramatic. both are very comparable but no argument the canon is just that itsibitsy tiny better all around (excluding the price factor hehe)

btw, the L lens is weather sealed...the sigma isnt...maybe for some thats worth the extra cash.
