dali ra man pag himo ug sauce for fishball, tempura, squidball etc..

the sweet sauce is basically brown sugar disolved in water with cornstarch and vinegar. ikaw na bahala ug tilaw depende sa sweetness and consistency sa sauce.

tip: when mixing the cornstarch, hinay2 lang ang pagmix. ayaw kalita ug daghan kay basin magtibugol ang imo sauce.

    steps

dissolve brown sugar in boiling water to a thick consistency. add vinegar gradually to taste. finally add the cornstarch to get desired thickness.

if gusto mo atong suka here are the steps

saute calamansi, onions, and sili in a wok. (amount of sili depends on you on how spicy you want it). when you smell the aroma, add vinegar to the mixture.

if you want the authentic street taste, get the coconut vinegar. not the bottled kind but the one being sold in carbon.

    hope this helps.

Well Well we have someone kind enough to share with us the sauce...

Zuhe, did you slowly place starch kay it has to be very little until you get desired thickness...

    hi , hope this help
here's my home recipe for tempura, squidball and fishball sauce

    Ingredients:

    1.Ketchup (brand of your choice)
    2.1cup H20
3.1cup vinegar (i use datu puti)
    4.Brown sugar
    5.Onions,sili if you want, lemonsito
    6.cornstarch
7.salt (iodized or rock), pepper (optional)

    steps
    1. mix ingredient 1,2,3,4 have it boiled in a medium heat fire and stir until the sugar is dissolved
    2. if its boiling already taste the vinegar , make sure that the vinegar is cooked well para dili mosakit imu tiyan if wala kaau xa maluto (para sa mga acidic diha hinay hinay lang)
    3. add ingredient 5 (depends if you want to add the sili and lemonsito)
just make sure the sauce is boiling already para dili mopaet ang taste sa onions.
    4. dissolved ingredient 6 in a cold water , gamay lang na water ..
    5. pour the cornstarch carefully sa sauce while stirring it...keep stirring until the sauce gets a little sticky or thick.
    6. add ingredient 7 (optional to taste)

    hope this helps..
