actually, even in manila, Rustan's Supermarket hasn't really been doing well. Their branch in Cubao, Quezon City was closed about almost a year ago.

the new rustans will be in Banawa near to Convergys building

and it will be like a mall w/ resturants and other entertainment delights

maybe this will be expected this april-june of 2006 :mrgreen:
theres a lotto outlet in there too cuz my uncle was talking to the owner of the building (the build is owned by an Arce*** dude)

wala ra gud nag lalis ang manga igsoon (brother-sisters) daw sa ato nga old building sa rustans something about sa rental daw, nya na samokan na ang rustans mao na balhin sila sa lugar na ang ila target mas daghan ( sa grocery nga target market and maybe u employees in Convergys)

It is a strategic location. Rustans will be catering consumers in the south area since Fooda, Ayala, SM & BTC are eating up the central and north area of cebu.
