im planning to buy sad nokia 5800 XM but ga duha2x pa ko..cgro late ds year na lng..

ryt now i'm satisfied pa sa akong nokia 5320XM blue..

8 months nani nko na cp..la pa sad na firmware upgrade hehe..

Is there an update already available for the Philippines/Asian Nokia 5800? If not, how did you update your firmware using the update for 5800s from other regions without bricking it?

The 5800 i'm using gets stuck 30% of the time but now that I'm a little more familiar with it, I can handle how to unstuck it.

For me, ok yung 5800 XM. nice tourchscreen interface, mas mabilis siya ngayon due to the firmware update. Since i bought it i never experienced the "bugs". it depends kasi sa country. iba ibang batch kasi. maybe yung ibang batch may bugs.. yun pinadala sa pinas wala naman.

The sound is ok. not that loud compared to other xpressmusic phones. pero the video playback is great. this is due to the wide screen type of viewing kasi malaki ang screen ng 5800.

Thanks for the info. Have you heard of new batches of N5800 to be released? Some says that would most likely be on May-June. Can anyone verify that?

i have my 5800xm for almost a month now. no problems so far. firmware is still at v11. i got it from junrex in which they gave me a free red mobile sim and a bottle of red wine... hehehe...

junrex owns nokia SM that is why the barcode prices in the nokia store has the name junrex on it. hehehe...
