I think both are head to head, although ideally it should be canon's 50D I should have placed here, but its more pricy compared to D90. But thanks to sir BeoR for pointing the service center that we have here in Cebu, its only Canon! (although I dont know about Canon users if they really availed much about these service centers locally, or its just for peace of mind purposes, same thing for nikon, does it need a service center most of the time?) But the "natural colors" Canon can give is a point Im also taking account. The question remains for me, for the one who started and for those watching this thread, Canon or Nikon? Hope the guys who have experienced with these brands give us more inputs from real life situations. thanks again.

jare73: I am one of those who availed of the services offered by Canon service center here in cebu. Nothing major though just cleaning of body, sensor and lens. oh wait, i also had my old 300D's shutter assembley re-aligned before i sold it. It's quite comforting to know that there's a service center that you can go to even for the smallest problems (also read as sensor dust) with your dSLR specially if you depend on it on almost daily basis.
However, it doesn't mean that Canon is built any poorer than other brands.
I'm starting to like this thread. hahaha![]()
