You can't avoid outside influences on your children, but the main influence are the parents. crappy Parents raise crappy children. Sooner or later your kids will find out about the "others" and then its up to the way how you raised them. Of course you can always home school your kids and block them off from the real world with nice little lies, but chances are you will be producing a whackjob like Andrew Schlafly

I say let them marry. The state should recognize their union and treat it equally to those of heterosexuals. Now to those who feel this offends the sacred bound of marriage , you people need to remember that this is just about the state, religion or religious institutions should have no influence in any "proper" state. Now if the Gays want to marry in our "precious" catholic churches, then we can threaten them with Hell, eternel fire, the plague, gods wrath and so on.. what ever you use to scare people who don't think like you want them to.

Regarding miss California, I applaud her. She stood up to millions by staying true to herself and her beliefs, I respect that even though we disagree. Now Perez Hilton on the other hand has shown the world what a bigoted sleazeball he really is. It basically boils down to saying "You disagree with me, you're a dumb b*tch". Perez Hilton is a low life

Ma uwaw man sab ta ani uy. Daghan man diay ignorante diha sa Cebu. Don't look at it as a traditional definition of marriage. The only reason why gays and lesbians want to legalize gay marriage is so that they can share each other's benefits (i.e. medical insurance, retirement benefits, etc.). Let them be.

Who cares if two guys or two girls are legally married? That is their business. Preventing them from exercising their rights is like preventing an ugly person from walking out of the street. Tingali mga batig nawong ning against gay marriage. Ayaw lang mo ug pasuya kung ang imong idol or crush kay gusto mo iy*t ug same s*x. That's their business. Plus, there are other fish in the ocean. Move on na lang.

I'm not discriminating 3rd s3x pips but i'm not just voting for a same s3x marriage.

I respect the rights of every professional gays/lesbians. But i disgust those mga borara,
    bastos, & hilas nga gays/lesbians.

    That's just it.

Qaser has some practical point. But still, for me the real value of Marriage is somewhat Sacred and not merely based on benefits.

Hinoon, there are different types of society right now with different beliefs. No one can do anything about it.

But, i'd rather teach my own kids the traditional way of valuing the so called "Marriage".
