Hi, Marie! First off, how much are you allocating for the pond? Are you looking at getting pond quality fish only or are you thinking of getting seriously into kois?

Hi Faithfulnina, thanks for the reply. We're planning to get serious with Koi, my husband and I really like looking at them. Ang size sa pond is that we're planning to build is 6ft by 20ft, though naa cguro portion ani i allocate for the filter. We don't know the depth yet. We don't want it too deep kay we have a small kid hadlok mi mahulog unya. Pwede na 2 ft? We want to design the pond and the filtration properly para ma minimize ang death nya sa koi kay luoy pud. How much kaha amo ma spend no? Thanks very much!

@marie, i think 2 ft is too shallow for a koi pond. . most ideal is at least 4-5 ft. . . pero you can design it in a way naa naay deep portion. . lets say sa mid portion lang ang deep part. . nya sa sides kay shallow lang cya. . para safe lang sa kids. . .

Hi, Marie! The dimensions are quite decent except for the depth. I agree with Elvin Joe. If you're looking at going serious with the hobby, it would be more practical to build a decent sized pond, this includes a deepr one than what you've originally planned, rather than make renovations later on when the kois are bigger. It's gonna cost you a lot if you do that. A good sized, fully equipped pond is gonna cost around a hundred thousand. If you want to contact a legit pond designer and supplier, you can get in touch with Russell Tantuco +639209504877. He has the best stock of koi around too.

Hi Elvinjoe, thanks for the suggestion, I like your idea nga deeper ang center portion

Thanks Faithfulnina! Cge, we'll contact Russell Tantuco. Hala, our budget is much lower than 100K ra ba. We'll try to work with it lang for the meantime...hopefully, in the future, maka save mi for a better pond..hehe.

Or you can also have it designed like this.
