Kanang sa imong gi ingon nga studies nga ok ghapon even after 48 hrs, mangutana ko nimo, how long after? Did they specify kung kanus-a? Maybe that was 49, 50 or 51 hours after onset of symptoms. But MOST definitely NOT AFTER 4-5 days. The thing is, you misinterpreted that article from the CDC, when they meant "duration" and you thought otherwise.

In most cases, even WITHOUT taking Tamiflu or Relenza, symptoms of the flu resolve within a week or so. That is our immune system kicking in.

yep not after 4-5 days but within that period ryt? unsa may naka misinterpret naku ato nga clear man kaau to nga naa patient nga naka benefits sa medicine even after 48hrs period... i think u didn't even dig in to that article, coz u think dat u know it already.. if uv been w/ best doctors, the people in cdc are experts anyway, there's nothing to argue i was just stating based on facts and data gathered by them..

^This is more like nature's way of maintaining balance. I was watching an episode of Planet Earth called Deep Forests (or something like that), and I was amazed at how efficiently nature keeps everything in check. They were filming this huge colony of ants, when suddenly almost the entire colony gets wiped out by a virus. The scientists don't know why this happens, and why it happens with predictable regularity within the forest ecosystem, but they think it's nature's way of keeping the ants from getting too numerous and taking over the entire place.

OT: It's called the Gaea Hypothesis. A theory that the Earth is one living organism. This means the planet is capable of keeping things in balance when it (or should I say she) needs to.

pas-pas gud ang rate sa swine flu... in the US today there are 93 cases. Canada has 16 cases of swine flu reported. this could get even worse... the world health organization raised the level of influenza alert from phase 4 to phase 5.

advise nako sa mga tao karon kay pack up hand sanitizers, bottle water, food and vitamins. and prepare for the worst to come...
