ang update sa MDR kay ipadala gyud tawn sa manila kay wala man daw lain nga unit nga ilang makuha-an ug pisa para ma-isolate ang problematic part! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! unsaon nalang tawn akong trabaho ani ron!

Ako nalang tawgan da-an ang Acer PH ani para makahibaw nako daan sa situation kung makahatag ba kaha sila free replacement sa NV deffect ani....

wala man gyud ni siya beep sukad sauna... ako na try taud external LCD pero wala display. ako tangtang ang 2 ka rams nako ug tagsa2 taud, wala gihapon. tang2 nako HDD la gihapon. nasuwayan na 3rd ram nga known to work wala gihapon.

sori 4 dat bro... as far as i no n base sa opinion sa uban bati kno ang acer ky taiwan made kno i dnt no cos i havnt had an acer b4... my 1st lappy was toshiba (still working but m not using it anymore) bec i hav a new hp dv9700t... base on xpirens i liked toshiba mor dan hp...

acer ra gyud to logical choice nako gud at the time sa pagpalit kay ang offering sa uban brands kay a year old models with a year old prices pa gyud para sa mga tao nga dili intawon kahibaw mo-check sa current market offerings sa internet.

cge lang kay andam naman ko daan unsa-on nako sila paggulat in-kaso magbinuang sila. hehe... wish me luck nalang!

update: Acer is waiting for me to give them the go to have my unit shipped to Taiwan where the motherboard will have to be "repaired". I have asked MDR (the company responsible for shipping my unit to Acer Manila) to ask Acer Manila the specifics regarding the so-called "repair" just to make sure they are not just going to put a band-aid on the issue so that it will hunt me again after a few months. The said repair will have to cost me around PHP 6,000. And the best part? They will only give me 3 months warranty for such a repair! Nice huh? It sure gives me the re-assurance I need! Even Green Valley does a better job at them in terms of warranty for 10% of the cost. Amazing!

So from now on, I would strongly suggest people to avoid from Acer (even though this might be Nvidia's fault) because of the way they are handling this problem. HP and Dell did a great job of extending their warranties for the units that has the crappy Nvidea parts on them.

I am now contemplating on my next laptop purchase and Asus seems like the most logical brand I can go from now on since they have an ACTUAL SERVICE CENTER / OFFICE in Cebu City and not just "CERTIFIED" ones like MDR where no parts are available for the technicians to actually be able to isolate the problem.

If only our local Dell store can realize that people now have internet service and with that comes to power to know what the global price for their products are and that they should be ashame for pricing their units above the global price for whatever reason.
