whew!!! & i thought i was the only 1 who loved those guys. yeah, dokken really rocks. i never grew tired of listening to those heavy riffs and george lynch's scorching guitar work, which gained him the name "Mr. Scary", for the lightning speed and pure metal sounding stacatto & tremolo which defined lynch's unique guitar playing prowess.

i credit the band's success to don dokken's cool yet powerful singing & Lynch's impressive axework. even after the band broke up, george lynch continued his onslaught with his own band Lynch Mob, & showcased in full his ability in his solo album Sacred Groove.

i adore "alone again" pud bro. it's probably the best power ballad ever written. combining both elements of melody & crunch to produce a peice that's both cool & heavy all at the same time.

"i'd like to see you in the morning light... i'd like to feel you when it comes to night... now i'm here & i'm all alone... still i know how it feels.. i'm alone again..." i mean, how poetic can a rocker get?...

Ni back-up pud bya ni si Don Dokken sa album Scorpions nga Blackout.
