I had this problem also with the Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6.
It turns out that my 2 x 2GB TWIN2X2048-6400C4DHX running @ DDR2-800 rated 2.1V
is not receiving enough voltage. Its only at 1.89V set automatically by my motherboard.
I used CPUID HW Monitor to check my voltages.
Check if your memory is running with its rated voltage.
If not, shut down your pc and remove one of the memory card.
Turn it on and enter your bios.
Set the right voltage for your memory in the bios, save and exit.
Let your PC boots and loads up your OS then shut it down.
Replace back the memory card you remove and turn on your PC.
This works for me maybe so does for you.
bago pa gyud na abot akng PC.. gipang tang-tang balik tanan components nya gi balik assemble...
okay pa man siya as of now... mayta'g okay na ni siya PIRMI.
