Bird flu is even scarier, considering that birds migrate huge distances...

Hehehe, unsa man ning imong rodsky? Sarcasm nga dalang pakatawa? Dili na kinahanglan molupad ang pigs, kay ang transmission aning swine flu ron, person to person. And as you know, humans do fly (via airplanes).

SA una Bird Flu...Now Swine Flu!! What shall we do with this problem? Malikayan nato og kaon og Baboy?

as of now, ang affected ky adults aging 20-60yrs...so far, naay slyt immunity ang mga children...well, not immunity per se...so, i hop that is somewhat a good news..ang gihadlukan ra man sa WHO is ang cge ug transmission sa virus, ky the more it is transmitted from person to person, the larger the probability that the virus will mutate to another strain which will subsequently affect us humans more...lisud man gud himo ug vaccine sa mga flu viruses coz of their ability to mutate in a snap...but ang seasonal flu vaccine being administered ky helpful in preventing the swine virus strain to mutate to another strain...

too bad wa pa ni vaccine ky bag-o pan ni, mao ila ni gi estudyohan pag au n dili sila take forgranted sa higayon for treatment. as they said sa news, wa pa vaccines yet will be treat symptomatically like the ordinary flu lang sa ron.

ang lisod kung di ka cope ang lawas ky naa gyud mapagan. naa mn gani nangamatay sa oridinary na flu n how much more naa bag-o discover na strain!

one can only give TAMIFLU during the earliest s/s of the flu ky way epek na kung taud na. that is wat our doctors say and same na sa ordinary flu pod.

all we can do is enough rest and sleep, balanced diet and supplements to boost immune system and stay away from congested places, people with simple colds n cough signs (ayaw atubang), strict and frequent handwashing. for kids, dili sa pa day care!
