The govt. can only do so much in assuring that our water supply will be sufficient. As consumers, we also have the primary responsibility in preventing the occurrence of a water crisis. It is our duty to save and conserve water.



Water just like electricity is a commodity; therefore we must also learn to come up with water-saving mechanisms. The recent change in our climate is a clear indicator of how unpredictable nature can be. Although the Rainy season is up and coming, we must be still wary of the impending threat of rain drought, that’s why we must not take water-saving mechanisms for granted.

The assurance as to water supply is the SUPPLY. That means, there is enough for all inhabitants of the Philippines. Most of the time this commodity or natural resource is wasted carelessly by almost all people. We must keep in mind that there are areas in the Philippines that do not have enough supply of potable water. Local governments are helping poor communities find sources of clean water for domestic use. Water is actually too precious to be wasted.
