When gasoline prices would go up to 50 pesos, when a family earning 50 pesos a day would have to spend 1/2 of it just for the transportation fare, or when education on public schools would ask 500 pesos for misc. fees.

Another thing, I do not judge this directly but as I see it, I just hope that this Cha-Cha is not a political way for PGMA, JVD and FVR to maintain their political party’s clout and control over the country’s politics. And so if we have the same political leaders that would be running our country then what good is this Cha-Cha that would still not serve the interest of the people but still the interest of the leaders.
Problems won't easily be solved. The economy will continuously fall not until we make a drastic move ASAP. We shouldn't be wasting time. But, of course even without CHACHA, the government is looking for ways to cushion the impact of oil price hike and increase of wages. There have been a number of projects to utilize some of our available indigenous materials as an alternative source of energy. The said projects lessens the country's dependence on imported oil which is also use in pumping up electricity. We make use of solar, wind, geothermal and hydro power. Wage nationwide had increased already. If you're refering to those very poor families, they can avail of the non-collateral loans that the DSWD supervises. At least it can help them with their extra financial needs.

Going back to the chacha issue, you know, much will be achieve and may contributed to the economy with the shifting to a parliamentary-federal type of government and the revision of the constitution.

Default ARE YOU IN FAVOR OF CHARTER CHANGE? DO WE REALLY NEED IT?

will i think this is the most important thing congress should take into. dili lang kanang mga inquiry about scandals. the people are really tired of hearing their nuts. changes should be done once in for all for our country to be par with the other rich countries. i believe we deserve to be called First country. dili ba?

Just do it na lang (charter change). This issue has been plagueing the country for so long now, if we don't do it now, the issue will still come up everytime there's a new president. Might as well put an end to this issue.

no need.. what we need is a total overhaul of the corrupt officials. nothing would change if we are still run by this people.

and one more thing. maybe tey will just focus on improving on the improvement of the economy. not on some nonsense things like chacha

Im in favor of Charter change povided that the following must be done.

    1. The change must be made on the economic provisions but not on lifting the term limits of all elective officials.

    2. it must be done thru Constitutional Convention not ConAss.

    3. There must be elections in 2007

    4. There must be electoral reforms.

    5. Political paties should be strengthened; tuncoatism should be criminalized.

    6. Last but not the least, Gloria should resign. She may run as member of the paliament if she wants to.

maybe we could add ther should be fewer political parties to the list?

but the bottom line i think should be whatever happens, charter change or not, our leaders should shape up and start doing their jobs better.
