This is for the benefit of Istoryans who are also members of Photographers Club of Cebu (PCC).
Backgrounder: Yesterday ealy morning a hacker succesfully banned ALL members of PCC and deleted some threads. We have already lifted the ban and we encourage members to rejoin the group.
PCC BOD OFFICIAL STATEMENT regarding the hacking incident
Dear PCC Members,
The events of yesterday had been very unfortunate. We apologize to all of you for the inconvenience and the undue anxiety the indiscriminate banning might have caused you.
All of the BODs are unanimous in our condemnation of this provocative act against our group. We have already raised this matter with Flickr Admin and we are grateful for their assistance in helping us determine the perpetrators of this transgression.
The identities of these shenanigans may be obvious to most long-time members and their evident ill-intention had been made more pronounced by their shameful and despicable conduct.
PCC will not tolerate this kind of provocation. We are already exploring our legal options and will be taking appropriate action. But we will not limit ourselves to these options, we shall be responding in kind and in a manner commensurate to their aggression.
While we are at it, let us continue shooting and proceed with all our activities as planned. Let us continue to have fun and more so in the knowledge that our detractors would be watching in torment that instead of breaking us apart, their actions only serve to make us stronger.
