pra nako, EVERY SCHOOL/INSTITUTION has or will have always their share of SHORTCOMINGS and this go the same with EVERY STUDENT as well. however, it all boils down to CHOICE and RESPONSIBILITY toward self if u want to learn further or go with the stereotyped flow of blaming game!
our school has a great history of quality education. if quality of nursing grads has reduced these days, then there are a lot of variables contributing to it. but u cant erase history....one just has to take a stand whether one wants to be counted in as a FAILURE or SUCCESS or even PRIDE in the name of one's alma mater!
for me, i chose success as well as i take pride wen i say "m a carolinian"...no matter wat they say!
^^ correct, simply put. we cannot blame ourselves for the faults or whatever the reason behind our college's background.. no matter what blasphemies and insidious comments we hear from other people today, it is history.. we cannot ignore it but just face it!
we are Carolinian nurses and we have to make a stand on it, just like our co-Carolinian nurses who stood up para sa atoang alma mater.
Mga Bro.. Kumusta man ang inyong oath?? late kaayu kos balita dah.., Ingon ako mga kauban diri hospital lingaw daw kaayu mam dean mudala ug emce.., balita pud brad be..hehe

hehhee, lingaw mulang.. after gi tawag ang name ni madam dean, ni cheer mi ug taman oi.. hahahaha pero ang iyang speech maka inspire gyud, it was a message of commitment for us newly RN's
by the way, ala pa gyud ko nag work xtian.. tambay mode gyud ko sa karon, swerte c lovely na naka work cya sa ilaha.. huhu kami ani.. ambot
wen he said that, probably he meant na "i have a gud educational foundation and no matter wat kind that is, i need to keep my composure; to trust my skills and instincts. probably he meant also to use my learnings and to exercise proper attitude (open mind for learning)." so i did it eventually and tried my best until i have enhanced my skills.
i think, one can only get respect if one knows how to give it as well...its not actually, ur school "only" who gives u the gud image but its u who will make it for ur school. then it will just go hand in hand n time! ako lang ni thought ha.
sure, kita-kits lang nya puhon. i just got guages #18 (green),#20(pink),#22(blue) na Saf-T IV caths. hehehe! unsa sya na batch diay? di lang ko saba sa ako batch ky maulaw ko? clue lang, 2 sections ra gyud me during our time!
that wud be nice kung maka share sila pod.

dont worry, ur not the only one who felt that way during student days! same as ours, there myt be a difference as to the intensity but ora-ora ra gyud sad amo na sulti. naa CI maau ug naa sad mi masulti na way claro but once ma-expose naka sa tinuod na situation ky mugawas man imo SURVIVAL INSTINCT. unya u wud not just know it ky maka-look back ka na makasulti ug "hala no mao man ni ang gilecture sa una? ngano wa man ko kasabot adto or wa maminaw, or wa man to claro, etc...
then, ul see na ma-usab ra gyud ang taw! but i hope for the better...and makasulti ka na "di ko magpaka-ulaw ky mo reflect sa school and more to myself!"
