it is a great fallacy to glorify a given system as the "best and only" system for our society .. capitalism, socialism or communism. After all these years, and even reading through history, there are still people who glorify communism as the "solution" to the ills of the present society. Marx would present his idea of an ideal society that starts from the primitive Communism to the pure communism or ideal communism. But history tells us that even Marx's doctrine does not hold water at all .. all I can say is that" we are in a constant search of that perfect system we can call best for our given society .." My challenge for those who romanticize communism is to look at history, study it and learn from it. But as Hegel wrote: "the only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn anything from history"!

Modern COmmunism has never been attained by any state in our History.
Russia was never a Communist though they have been branded one, they were actually a Socialist State, a precursor to communism but they were not communist.
China also considered as "Communist" were not really communist, because to be a communist country one must have been a capitalist country, china was not even before their civil war.

I'd like to repeat, no state has ever made its way to Modern Communism as pointed out by Marx.

If the Philippines becomes a true Communist country, not the brand of communism we hear so often in TV about the different Rebel Groups out to take Manila , but the communism that is original to its creator, the Communism of Marx.

im not saying im a communist, im just saying that the unstained communism of Marx was his reaction to Social injustice in a Capitalist system. He only wanted to correct the tremendous exploitation in the present system. So kung ma communist ang philippines, a true communist country, it would be a milestone in history, but like any pioneer of great ideas, our country must first be able to stand out against the International Community, and the dynamic market to succeed because if we cant then it would surely kill us all.

Communism in the Philippines would be good if you get a good leader. In my humble opinion, any form of government is only as good as its leader/s. Presently, I think a dictatorship under a good strong leader would solve half of our problems faster. But then again, good leaders are hard to come by.

Communism is much too perfect for mere humans to execute without flaw...IMO, only the Kingdom of Heaven is a true communist state...

How do you keep people to not to be influenced by foreign ideas? How do you keep people from having this colonial mentality?

not perfectly ma influenced sa foreign ideas like sa British rule ni conquered sa India pero kasagaran ang britanya nun ang nainfluensahan sa mga indyano... den sa japan ug china kung wala lang gi opium war... mossucceed na unta ang china... ang japan dba ng close door sila not until the 18th century nga nagsugod sila ug open sa economic nila...

para nko mas molambo pa unta ang pinas after sa codeta kung c ms. aquino ni hangyo sa UN ug sa World Bank nga ipa freeze lang sa ang interest or i wipe-out ang utang sa panahon sa dictatorship... kay ayohonon pa ang nasud... kung nabuhat lang siguro to niya... basin niad2 pata nka bayad sa utang...

kung ganahan jud ka d jud mainfluenced by foreign ideas iclosed door... ipromote ang atong pagka nationality (Love your own from food to clothing to jobs)...

Gipromote pa ba karon ang pagka nationalista nato?! (except guro sa tanan tourism)

But the armed struggle would not be geared to political aims..but social aims. ANyways, the CPP/NDF is not the best proponent for Communism. It is not the Communism of Marx but that of Mao + JoMa.

bitaw c Marx and Engels emphasizes more on the social rather than political...
