@brian_d:
1] while it didn't happen to me personally i was still run by that system and was under that policy and it happened to good people whom i knew very well when i was still there and they are still doing it.
2] this is what i told the "victims" but gi-daog sila sa kahadlok ug mga istorya. gi daut pa gyud sila sa ilang future or prospective employers.
3] i know that i could have made a difference while i was still inside but it was futile for the reasons that i already previously stated. in short, ipa sa diyos na lang ilang mga binuhatan. i thought if the victims did not do anything, why should i?Â* but i was almost a victim myself. ni attempt sila but wa ko nila makaya.
4] i agree with you that it would just be a lost cause. just like a revolution, it is only successful through mass action and when you win.
5] that's why i chose out. but with what i have, what i know & the people i know, i can still help my friends there but it's really up to them if they want to help themselves.
6] lastly, the employees has already spoken but all they got was promises and to no avail. it all fell on deaf ears. sige lang saad mga manager even the directors. samot ka-frustrated kaayo ang mga empleyado.
the bottomline is, let's just accept the fact na lang that we can be exploited and that we cannot do anything about it.Â* in the next few days, i'll try hard to convince myself of this undisputable fact of life in this part of the world.
pa unggoy-unggoy na lang gyud ta ani hangtod sa hangtod bisan gi tabangan na ta ug lugos. the worst thing is we will learn to like it. the issue here is not about character or attitude, it is about justice and what is fair to an employee.
