nagsaksak sinagol na ang mga issues ngari .. haha .. ang bikini open, at least the way they are being carried right now are really "bastos" .. pasensya sa term. Lahi ang mag bikini kung mag beach o ang swim suit portion sa "miss miss" competitions o sa fashion shows .. very proper and elegant ang dating. I am into photography, usahay, unya ang subject sometimes hubo pero dili vulgar ug bastos .. ang bikini open is fun, pero as I have said it should be limited to adult and mature audience .. kanang shower shows and center pole performance, sa mga kabaret ra man na nako makit-an oy .. kulang na lang ang exhibition nga moabre ug coke gamit ang luto sa Dios .. bwahaha .. pero given the opportunity basin sad himuon sa contestant .. anyway, everybody knows where they came from and which bars in cebu and mandaue and mactan .. haha

@james_chaw: I did, and I understand your point. But isnt it unfair for people who are not catholic to be prohibited from enjoying themselves? Mutual respect means mutual respect, they respect Holy Week by not holding these contests in inappropriate places (isnt the beach the appropriate place to hold such contests?) and we respect them by not imposing our beliefs on them. Was Holy Week less holy because of these contests?

I only selected that quote sir to emphasize a point, that We respect them by letting them live their lives and they respect us by not interfering with our religious holiday. (If Im not mistaken, this is the point your metaphor was meant to point out)

bro, there are values and universal truths that go beyond religions, race, creed or nationalities.

Daghan kaau mo gi lalisan . The very reason why these issues came up but is not limited to

    - POLITICALY MOTIVATED

The HOLYWEEK ... in a Catholics point of view is indeed BASTOS and DEGRADING . People flocked Sta. Fe because GOOD FRIDAY is their town fiesta , the only town authorized by the VATICAN to celebrate and even eat pork . People go there to attend the fiesta and witness their beautiful event specially the PROCESSION and the case / tradition over the years , BEACH PARTY ang nahitabo . All these MORALITY ISSUES are only scapegoats and defense mechanisms and excuses by the GOVERNOR to attack the ILLUSTRISIMO'S .
