    fitness first.. dishonest company... they get xtra money from stealing... too bad... tikasan gyud... In my own biz, i prefer my client paying CASH than credit card... but Fitness First, dili mo dawat ug cash! hahaha! hao siao! "Credit Card lang sir para magsige mi ug charge nimo every month bisan wala naka dinhi!" hahahah!

    i have been a member of fitness first Fort,Manila for almost a year now and so far, I am and still a satisfied customer... i am satisfied with the equipment, the group exercises (body pump, comsic cycling, pilates and RPM), the trainers here are very accomodating. Its too bad that the service in FF Cebu is not comparable with the service in Manila. I beg to disagree with the comments that FF is a dishonest company. Perhaps, the liability should be imputable to the sales agents (and not the company directly). We must remember that these agents get commissions for every person that they get to pursuade to join the club.. that's why they employ sort of "manipulative schemes" just to convince people to join. But it is unfair to impute liability on the company because, for all we know, they management may not be aware of this (that why we have to voice our complaints directly to the management) In my case, luckily for me, the sales agent informed be before hand the conditions of pre-termination and termination of the contract (at least 30 days prior to the desired month you want to terminate the contract), or the 1-year or 3-month membership conditions, as well as the conditions for the enforcement of the "freezing period" -- moreover, she informed me that the credit card-auto-debit procedure of the company is only a means of security for the company in case of delay in payment (most companies such as globe and smart lines require credit cards before an account can be approved) Moreover, the sales agent even informed me that i can pay in cash on the 24th of every month if i dont want that my membership dues be debited to my credit card (which i have been doing for the past year!) there is no reason to discredit the company for the fraudulent acts of their agents so long as the company is doing its best to fix whatever harm or damage it may have caused its customers

    cash is always better than credit card.

    In terms of members not paying mothly dues it so easy to monitor because you have an id card that you present to the front desk for entry with your info, thus if u dont pay for the month, it should be no entry and members can understand. But they wanna cash in on the issue that members dont notify in 30 days advance. extra dough for them and the members or costumers are unhappy. i guess they dont want a repeat business because people will difinitely not come back after getting screwed.

    to law student i know FF manila and cebu branch. well i willd dis agree with you. all the employees and even the company knows this complaints ma pa manila man or sa cebu. sad to say they never answer or wala sila ga mind ani esp. the company it self. and guess what some of the employees compalints this that the management is dili or walay gina buhat about this problems. even in manila they have a thread like this. kahit sa ilang mga empleyado the FF management sucks!!!! thats why grabe ilang turn over.

    as advice to everybody be careful with your CC details even if na expire na FF have stlye para maka kuha lang gihapon cila ug payment nato even na expired ang CC details nato. grabe na sila ka swapang and wise.

    to constantine if you want no one will complaint na then make some move about it. your one of the management.

    My sister works for HSBC customer service, and she said daghan na jud kuno kaayo complaints anang auto-debit thing sa Fitness First. Daghan mo diri baya sa Cebu, kaya careful anang agreements nila. READ THE FINE PRINT, unya kulit-kulita jud hangtud matangtang na ang autodebit.

    Mangita na lang mo ug laing workout center, para walay hassle.

    Default EASTWOOD BRANCH-FITNESS FIRST: BEWARE-SHREWED ESTABLISHMENT!!!!


    My story is funny but I'm not laughing. It's actually irritating. FITNESS FIRST LIKES TO DECEIVE PATRONS =JUST FOR THE BUSINESS NONE OF THE SERVICE!!
    Prior to my enrollment at Fitness I searched the web and read this first. I thought, ok this company is really shitty but I only work a few blocks from them so I might as well give it a try.

    I called for an appointment and the consultant (i actually was just asking for the rate), instead asked me to come over because he said they can't discuss the rate on the phone DOH. Anyway, because I was gona enrol anyway I went there and talked lengthly to him and I ven brought up this site. Having the infor mation on mind about them being shwred I asked he consultnt to explain everything , most esp the issue of cancellation etc, for I explicitly told him that this enrolment was never intended to be a long term commitment.

    Fast forward, I enrolled paid and issued 12 checks for the one year subscription. He said I can can cel anytime and in fact he wa even asking me for 18 checks. (there are only 12 months in a year). I only wanted to give 6 but he insisted that I give 12 otherwise I cant avail of the promo).

    Its now May and I enrolled in February, started in March and the whole month of APril I only attended 5 days session because of work. Thinking that my work schedule will not permit me again to workout I decided to freeze my account for May and June (because Im gonna be out of the country the entire month). I even signed the waiver etc and the employee who assisted me assured me that they wont deposit the check.

    This afternoon to my dismay, I received a mesage from my bank informing me that a check from Fitness was deposited and therefore ate the money I alloted to some payables. When I checked with Fitness-the consultant "was not available", "the manager was not available", "and the person who assistd me wa not available". What the ****!! Some girl assisted me but all she did was advised me to email them instead.

    By the way, when I paid initially I gave them cash. The girl who took my call said, the check they deposited was for April. What happened to MArch? All my checks were claimed and deposited and fuinded. Then ther consultant when I ewnrolled changed my name on the application paper becasue he swiped a credit card to pay for my due when I already gave him cash!!!!! Now they are saying the check they deposited was for April? wHAT HAPPEND TO maRCH? WHO COLLECTED IT?

    FISHY FISHY.

    I am definitely filing a complaint to SEC about this. ****ers!

    after i pay them with my credit card, after the third month i paid cash because i dont want it charge to my credit card they still charge it to my cerdit card. i ended paying them twice for the month. watch your credit card monthly. that is a hastle.
