But I think dili ka lupig ang Linux sa Windows especially that most of us or some of us uses unlicensed Windows. Likewise, layo ra ang Linux sa pagka user-friendly.
i think CentOS 5 and RHEL 5 is becoming friendly user hehe.................. I THINK
Even sa personal use na PC's gaining na ang Linux.
But dili kau ko convinced sa data specially sa IE vs Firefox na comparison.
Ang licensed vs unlicensed Windows comparison murag opposite dri sa pinas. hehehehe
For personal use mas sikat pa jud ang windows but for corporate use like servers many are choosing linux not just because they are free but for its robustness and stability. Ako mas prefer nako ang linux for the servers i setup in our company.
Kong sa balay lang ninyo gamiton ang pc pag windows nalang mo wala bitaw license sa balay pero kong sa office gamiton then wala budget ang company to buy license dapat lang linux like what we did.
Sakto ka bro pwede ra linux sa balay if web browsing and internet lang.. pero bati-a pod ana wala games sa pc sa balay oi...heheh
probably hosting a local site. having a website (available on the internet) hosted within your house is not a good idea - you need to have a decent amount of bandwidth, IDS - network wide, redundant power supply and more.
as on this topic, CentOS/RHEL is on the lead for the growing numbers of Linux. I don't have any basis though. LOL. But most of the companies (specially here in SG) are really going for enterprise solutions. Which is what RHEL is for.
